FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Previews are offered Monday–Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM for a $100 fee.
    They are available exclusively to clients who have secured their date with a signed contract.

    While not required, previews are highly recommended. They allow us to finalize your look in advance so you feel confident and fully prepared for your event, especially if you don’t typically wear makeup.

  • Yes! Travel is billed at $1 per mile for all on-location services, round trip from Caledonia, MI. For events exceeding 3 hours of travel (one way), hotel accommodations will be required.

  • I specialize exclusively in makeup artistry and do not offer hair services.
    However, I’m happy to provide hairstylist recommendations!

  • Please arrive with clean, bare skin—no makeup or skincare.

  • No. Satin Aura Artistry is a mobile service, providing an elevated makeup experience at your location.

  • Cash and card are accepted.

  • Weddings & Events:
    A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date.
    The remaining balance is due one month prior to the event.

    Lessons & Previews:
    Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your appointment.

  • Weddings & Events:
    Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 90 days prior to the event date.
    Cancellations made within 90 days will be responsible for the full contracted amount.

    Appointments:
    Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance.
    Cancellations within 48 hours, no-shows, or arrivals more than 15 minutes late will be charged 100% of the service.
